Back in 2011 I was kindly invited to a radio event in Calais organised by the France Radio Club and Offshore Echos Magazine. Apart from being able to talk to some Radio Caroline listeners I was also able to catch up in person with my old Ross Revenge shipmate Walter Simons. A very pleasant meal in a local restaurant rounded off a very enjoyable day.
