In August 1982 I visited Radio Nova in Dublin. Termed one of the ‘Super Pirates’, along with Sunshine Radio, it dominated the Dublin radio scene in the early 1980s.
High power AM & FM transmitters and a professional setup meant the station had a huge audience.
Ex-Radio Caroline DJ Stevie Gordon was my guide around the offices and studios. Also in attendance that day were ex-offshore radio DJs Andy Archer and Brian McKenzie.
Here are a few photos which I took during my visit to Herbert Street in Dublin.
