The three photographs below were taken by my father in about 1960/1961 whilst we were living near to Paddington station. His office overlooked the mainline in and out of the station. The photographs show a London Underground train, and a Western Pullman. I originally posted these photographs on a London-related photo site and was accused of posting pictures of a model railway layout! The large brick building behind the mainline is the Old Oak motive power depot, which was demolished a few years ago, and the site is now occupied by some dreadful modern constructions.
